Alex Vazquez III, J.D.
Vice President - Investment Strategy and Private Client Services
I'm responsible for strategic investing and portfolio construction in my role as Investment Advisor. I can call upon my 23 years of business ownership and legal experience as a Real Estate and Estate Planning Attorney to help clients identify both their personal and business needs to then help them develop a wealth management strategy that takes the clients' life priorities into consideration and addresses wealth creation, preservation and transfer.
I decided to transition my Legal Advisor career to a career as Financial Advisor when my Real Estate and Estate Planning Clients brought some very real and challenging realities to my attention that were not being addressed by any of their other trusted advisors. The new realities of early retirement and/or disability, lower returns on real estate investments, longer life expectancy and rising healthcare and retirement costs are all very good reasons for concern. They need a trusted advisor that can coach them through these very real and complex challenges we all face. I attribute most of my success as an attorney to asking the right questions and developing a strategic plan to best represent my clients. I believe that asking the right questions is also the best way to develop a successful wealth management plan for you.
I earned my bachelor's degree from Florida State University in 1991 and my Juris Doctor from The Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1996. I'm currently a licensed but non-practicing attorney who is a native Floridian that currently resides in Davie, Florida with my wife, Jeazette, and our two children. I do not provide legal advice in my role at Myriad Capital.
